Untappd Asked What We Stay Stocked Up On [WATCH]

Untappd recently invited us to share what we stay stocked up on.

We don’t dabble in video too much. If you follow us on Instagram, you know that we like the ease and user-friendliness of Reels. But as far as shooting and editing professional-quality videos, we really don’t have the time, energy or overall interest. When Untappd recently reached out with an opportunity to collaborate on a short video highlighting what we stay stocked up on, however, we decided that this was a worthwhile opportunity for us to push our creativity and allow craft beer enthusiasts elsewhere a glimpse into the craft beer communities around Minnesota and the Midwest.

In case you’re unfamiliar with it, Untappd is a beer-focused geosocial networking service and mobile phone app that allows users to check in as they drink beer as well as share their check-ins and locations with other users. Founded in 2010, Untappd has become a favorite amongst craft beer drinkers and enthusiasts for its features including rating beers, earning badges, sharing pictures, reviewing venue taplists, reviewing ratings and check-ins by other users, commenting on interactions and finding beverage suggestions. Untappd was named one of Time’s 50 Best Apps of the Year in 2016, and — in late March 2021 — celebrated one billion check-ins by app users.

In August 2020 Untappd kicked off its video series Stocked Up which asks craft beer enthusiasts and influencers: “What do you stay stocked up on?” While our beer fridge is regularly stocked, we took the opportunity to feature some of our favorite beers currently in our fridge including Lazy Monk Brewing’s (Eau Claire, WI) Bohemian Pilsner, Untitled Art’s (Waunakee, WI) Double Strawberry Imperial Smoothie, Hayes’ Public House’s (Buffalo, MN) Breakfast of Tyrants Oatmeal Stout, Lupulin Brewing Company’s (Big Lake, MN) Citradiculous Imperial IPA, The Nordic Brewing Company’s (Monticello, MN) Sail Brown Bay Brown Ale and Aegir Brewing Company’s (Elk River, MN) Call Me a Cab Wine Ale.

Watch our video above to find out why we love these six beers from Minnesota and Wisconsin and why we think you will, too!
