Hot off the wild success of their hilariously Awkward Skaliday Photo Challenge, the folks at Aegir Brewing Co. are heading into 2021 with more ridiculousness.
On Monday, January 26 the Elk River brewery took to social media to promote their latest idea: Microwave Mondays. “We present… MICROWAVE MONDAYS!” Aegir Brewing announced. “With any drink purchase, grab one of our microwaveable hors d’oeuvres and heat it up! Our Shield Maiden’s blonde would pair well with ramen… just a thought!” The photo posted reveals a lineup of microwaveable options including Maruchan Instant Lunch Ramen Noodle cups, Campbell’s Chunky soups, El Monterery burritos, Kraft Deluxe mac and cheese, and Orville Redenbacher popcorn.
Fans of the idea have shown their support in the post’s comments.
“I used to live on all those things!” said one on Facebook. “Now just beer though.”
“Great idea,” praised another. “You rock the marketing, Aegir!”
“Do you have microwaveable oysters on the half shell?” asked a third.
